Walgreens $5 Challenge: 3/14
Here are my scenarios for rolling your Register Rewards at Walgreens this week while spending no more than $5 out of pocket:
Transaction #1
Buy 1 Colgate Total Toothpaste $3.99
- $1/1 from 3/7 SS
= $2.99 plus tax
Get back $4 RR
Final Cost: FREE + $1 mm!
Transaction #2
Buy 2 Neosporin @ $4 ea
Buy 1 Band-Aids $3
Buy 2 Wags Big Roll Toilet Paper @2/$1.00 (in-ad coupon)
Buy 3 Scotch Mailers @3/$1.00 w/in ad Q (or 2 Wags Big Roll Toilet Paper @2/$1 w/in ad Q)
- $3/2 Band-Aid and Neosporin coupon from the 2/21 SS
- $1/1 Neosporin coupon from the 1/3 RP
- $2/1 Wags Neosporin Q from Children's Activity Book
- Wags coupon making Scotch Mailers 3/$1
- $4 Colgate RR from 1st transaction
= ZERO
Get back $3 RR
Final Cost: $1
This means that your total cost for everything is ZERO since you made a dollar on the first transaction. Not bad for $15.99 worth of stuff!
If you want you could repeat transaction #1 you'll just need to add a Royal Gelatin (20¢ w/in ad Q) to use your $3 RR. You'll then pay only 19¢ out of pocket. Rinse & Repeat!
