Becoming A Coupon Superstar Day 7: The Coupon of the Future: eCoupons

Photobucket

Are you wondering just what an eCoupon is? It is an electronic coupon that is added to your loyalty/shopper card through the Internet. Yep, it really is that easy and best of all there is no sorting or cutting.

These eCoupons are offered through Cellfire, Shortcuts, P&G eSavers, and Upromise eCoupons. P&G eSavers can be used at Krogers and Randalls. Cellfire and Shortcuts can only be used at Krogers. I will tell you more about UPromise tomorrow.

How to use eCoupons?

  1. Set up an account and enter your participating store cards with Shortcuts, Cellfire, and P&G eSavers
  2. Select the coupons you want. It does take about an hour for it to be loaded on your card so allow yourself enough time if you are planning to use one at the store.
  3. When you go shopping these coupons will automatically be redeemed at checkout.
  4. If you have a problem with your eCoupon being deducted, simply contact the eCoupon provider using the info provided on their website. You usually have 30 days to report a problem.

I suggest you print a copy of the coupons you have loaded, because chances are you will forget.
Another thing to know is that eCoupons do not double.

Can you use a paper coupon with an eCoupon? It is not intended for you to use both. However if you do it will go through. This is obviously a flaw in the eCoupon system and one they are aware of. So, should you or shouldn’t you? I can see both sides and would like to give you insigt into each view which you will find here and here.

Go to Day 8.
