Kellogg's Coupons Reset!
Ok, I kept reading that these had been reset at Coupons.com, but when I went they weren't anywhere to be found. Well, that's because they've been taken down.
However they have been reset over at the Kellogg's site. I was only able to reprint two of them, but maybe you'll have better luck.

Become A Coupon Superstar Day 11: The Art of Stockpiling.
Why to stockpile.
Stockpiling will prevent you from buying an item at a high price cause you've run out. Which in turns saves you gas and the time you would of spent going to the store. Not to mention once you get in the store chances are you'll buy other stuff as well. Instead all the items you need are on hand and you can whip up a meal on the fly.
What should you stockpile?
You'll want to stock up on the things you use on a regular basis. The health and beauty items are pretty obvious. However, if you are brand loyal you must really pay attention to sales cycles and prices to know when to stock up. It can be a little harder to determine what food items to stock up on.
Think about past meals you've made, chances are you'll notice a few of the same ingredients throughout. Begin to keep a running list. Some of my staples are tomato sauce, rice, cream soups, broth, noodles, canned green beans and so on.
You'll also need to decide what is a good amount to stockpile. This will vary based on family size and storage space. Be mindful of expiration dates you don't want anything to go bad.
When to stockpile.
You'll want to stock up when items are at their lowest price and you have a coupon. Generally "loss leaders" are located on the front of a store's sales flyer. While those may be easy to find not all items will be so obvious. For those items you'll want to keep track of pricing. Some people will track the lowest price using a Price Book, others rely on their memory. Do whatever works best for you.
A good rule of thumb is to pay at least 75% off the regular price. For those items you use that we don't get coupons for 40% off is good. This is just a basis, you may find it differs for you.
When you do find items you use at a low price, stock up! However don't go over your budget to do it. Set an amount of your budget aside for stockpiling and once it is gone, you're done. You will find that there are weeks when you won't use it. Simply add it to next weeks, use it on your regular shopping, or add it to savings.

Become A Coupon Superstar Day 10: Ughh, they're sold out! Now, what?
The store is having a great sale on an item. So, you head out to the store only to have your hopes dashed when you find out they've sold out!
Don't get upset, get a raincheck! Simply ask your cashier or customer service rep for a raincheck. Yes, it really is that simple.
Now, this is great news but you don't have time to wait since your coupon expires soon. Well, in this case go to your local WalMart and price match it. Making this even better is that they usually have a greater selection and larger supply.
At CVS rainchecks can be an added bonus. How? Well, let's say you get a raincheck for an item that's FAECB. Then later on down the line the ECB deal comes along again. You use the raincheck, they print your ECB plus you get ECB for the current deal! Cool, huh?
At Walgreens rainchecks on items that are FARR work differently When you redeem your raincheck the item will be rung up free. This means you can't use a coupon and you won't get a RR.
Aren't you happy you can still get in on the deal? However, even if you forget the RC or the deal isn't as great when you have to get a raincheck, it's OK! Remember, the deal and the coupon will come around again. Frugal shopping should be fun not upsetting and frantic.

Becoming A Coupon Superstar Day 9: Getting the Most Out of Your Coupon.
The most important thing to know in couponing is when to use it. One of the biggest and most costly mistake is using a coupon just because you have it. The trick is to use your coupon when the item is on sale for a great price, on clearance, with a Walgreens Register Reward deal or other offer.
Rock Bottom Prices
Wait for the item to go on sale at the lowest price then use the coupon. This is the time that you want to buy several to hold you until the next sale. Stores tend to place their "loss leaders" (products at rock bottom prices) on the front page.
BOGO Sales
Another great time to use your coupon is during a Buy One Get One Free sale. This is because you can use two coupons. One for the item you are buying and one for the free item. To make a BOGO sale even better combine with a BOGO or FREE item coupon and score two FREE items!
Rebates
Be on the lookout for Mail In Rebates or Try Me Free offers. A lot of times when combined with a coupon it will be a small money maker, since you get back the "purchase price".
Stacking
Stacking your coupon is when you use two coupons on one item. This is done by combining a manufacturer coupon with a store coupon. This allows for greater savings and use of your coupon. So be on the lookout for store coupons and check to see if you have a manufacturer coupon to combine with it.
Doubles
There are stores that always double (some even triple) coupons up to a certain amount. These are the stores you want to use those lower value coupons combined with a sale. Then there are stores that double coupons a few times a year. The amount is usually higher like they double up to $2!
As you can see there are a number of ways to squeeze the most value out of your coupon. Think of your coupon as money you want it to go as far as possible. However, don't feel you have to use it, another will come along and with it a great sale!

Becoming A Coupon Superstar Day 8: FREE Money for College with UPromise
UPromise is a FREE program that pays you back for everyday purchases. It is FREE money for college education or student loans.
All you have to do is sign up and load your shopping cards (Krogers, CVS). You can then load the E-coupons you know you will use. Note the savings will not come off at the register but will be deposited into your account, but you can use a paper coupon with it to maximize your savings.
The way to make this work is to use the coupons for things you will be buying anyway don’t buy it just cause there is a coupon. Over time you will begin to see your savings. You can also ask others to do this as well for your child (think grandparents).
There are other ways to earn money but I won’t be going into them. However you can learn all about it on their site.
Go to Day 9.
Monday, May 4
Becoming A Coupon Superstar Day 7: The Coupon of the Future: eCoupons
These eCoupons are offered through Cellfire, Shortcuts, P&G eSavers, and Upromise eCoupons. P&G eSavers can be used at Krogers and Randalls. Cellfire and Shortcuts can only be used at Krogers. I will tell you more about UPromise tomorrow.
How to use eCoupons?
- Set up an account and enter your participating store cards with Shortcuts, Cellfire, and P&G eSavers
- Select the coupons you want. It does take about an hour for it to be loaded on your card so allow yourself enough time if you are planning to use one at the store.
- When you go shopping these coupons will automatically be redeemed at checkout.
- If you have a problem with your eCoupon being deducted, simply contact the eCoupon provider using the info provided on their website. You usually have 30 days to report a problem.
I suggest you print a copy of the coupons you have loaded, because chances are you will forget.
Another thing to know is that eCoupons do not double.
Can you use a paper coupon with an eCoupon? It is not intended for you to use both. However if you do it will go through. This is obviously a flaw in the eCoupon system and one they are aware of. So, should you or shouldn’t you? I can see both sides and would like to give you insigt into each view which you will find here and here.

Becoming A Coupon Superstar Day 6: All About Internet Printables
- Smart Source
- Red Plum
- Coupons.com
- Betty CrockerPillsbury
- Very Best Baking (Nestle)
- Family Cents (General Mills)
- Eat Better America Coupons
- Box Tops for Education
- List of “Bricks” printables available on different manufacturer’s website
- Another place to look is on product websites.
Most of the Internet printables can be printed twice by hitting the back button. However every now and again the print limit will be higher, so hit the back button again just to be sure.
On sites like coupons.com once you select the coupon and it prints just go back and select it again to get one more. The next time you go back, it will show “print limit reached”.
Also sometimes, you will read about a great coupon available but when you get to coupons.com it’s not there. What happened? Well the manufacturer has set a print limit once it’s reached the coupon is taken down. This is why I will tell you to hurry and print before it’s gone. Other times it’s not there because it is not available for your zip code.
Using Your Internet Printables-
This is where the fun begins. If you choose to print yours in black & white, be prepared to hear the words “we don’t take copies of coupons”. Just simply point out that they are different by showing them the number under that funny looking barcode or the pin number, as they are unique. Not all printables will have this so here are a few things you can do in those cases.
- Print it in color.
- Print it on a nice paper or cardstock.
- Simply be prepared that you may have your coupon rejected. Be polite, take your coupon back and have them take the item off your transaction.
