Here are some ideas on rolling your RRs at Walgreens this week. The OOP is a little higher due to the Posture D Calcium. For those of you who don't need or want to buy this, I've included another set of scenarios.

Transaction 1:
Posture D Calcium
$8.99 OOP
Earn $8.99 RR

Transaction 2:
Colgate Total toothpaste $2.49
Reach Ultraclean Toothbrush or Floss, 2/$5
TUF Trash Bags 36 count/13 gallon $2.99
Trident Gum 3/$2 w/in ad Q
Energizer Batteries, $2.99 w/in ad Q (Or you could do the Bayer Quick Release $2.50, earn $2.50 RR)
Small Filler .39¢
-$1 Colgate Q
-$2.50 Reach BOGO Q
-(3) .75¢ Trident Q
-$1 Energizer Q
-$8.99 RR
=.76¢ OOP
Earn $3 & $1.50 RR

Total Value: $24.85
Total Paid OOP: $9.75
Plus you have $3 & $1.50 RR for next week!

Transaction 1:
Colgate Total toothpaste $2.49,
-$1 Q (5-10 SS)
=$1.49 OOP
Earn $1.50 RR

Transaction 2:
Bayer Quick Crystals $2.49
Cheap Filler .29¢
-$1 Q (tearpad on display)
-$1.50 Colgate RR
=.28¢ OOP
Earn $2.50 in RR

Transaction 3
2 Reach Toothbrushes $5
Cheap Filler .29¢

You could keep rolling by rolling the $3 RR into the Colgate and Bayer just throw in filler. Then you can roll the $4 into the Posture D Calcium.

Huggies Rewards Program: I WON!!

Ok, so if you've been following my blog you know all about the Huggies Enjoy the Ride Rewards Program.

Well, I had recently read a post about winning instant win games. Well one of the suggestions was playing at certain times. For me that time was between 3 & 5 AM! My first thought was yeah right! However the more I thought about it, I realized I'm usually up at this time feeding the rugrat.

Well last night or should I say this morning after laying the rugrat down I signed on and started redeeming points. I have to say I think the chances of winning the VISA card must be low cause it just wasn't happening. I figured I should try another offer to see if I had better luck. Boy did I! On my first try I won the $25 Applebee's gift card, and on my second try I won the $25 GAP gift card! Tried the VISA card again and no good, subway either.

I think giving up that 20 minutes (I'm guessing) of sleep for $50 worth of FREE, was a pretty good trade out.

Remember you don't have to have kids to join the Huggies Enjoy the Ride Rewards program. So, if you haven't signed up go now! A list of codes can be found here.

Walgreens $5/$25 Scenario

Ok, so I've been trying to come up with a way to use the new $5 off $25 Q. Remember you must hit $25 after all Qs including any RRs. I thought I'd share with you what I've come up with (hoping they have everything).

Skintimate or Edge Shave Gel- $1.99
Right Guard- $5.99
Benefiber- $4.99
Colgate Visible White- $4.49
Bayer Quick Release- $2.49
Coke 4-12 pks- $12
Wrigleys Gum- $4
Bayer Meter- $14.99
75¢/1 Skintimate or Edge (4/26 or 5/17 SS)
$1/1 Right Guard (4/19 SS)
$2/1 Benefiber (2/22, 4/5 or 5/10 SS)
$1 Bayer Quick Release (tearpad)
(4) $1/1 Coke IPs (no longer available)
$2 Wrigleys BOGO (tearpad)
$14.99 Bayer Meter (3/1 or 3/22 RP )
=$20.20 plus tax OOP
Get back $21.00 in RRs
Final Cost: FREE

I can still do the above deal even if they don't have the meter. My final cost would then be $4.20, so still a good deal!

In case you noticed I will not be using a Colgate Q since I don't have one. If you wanted to do the above deal and use that Q you'd need to add something for at least .80¢.

Target: Coupon Policy Issues

I seem to have issues shopping at Target about 90% of the time. Well, after skipping across the blogosphere it appears I'm not alone. The issues I've encountered are:

  • We can't take a coupon over the value of the item.- Their policy is to adjust down the coupon.
  • You can't use a Target and manufacturer coupon for one item.- Yes, you can as per their policy!
  • The Target coupon must be used for the item pictured.- There are no specifications on the coupon therefore you can use it on any, i.e. Bliss coupon can be used on single bar.

  • Now, I already know the answers to the above issues but trying to get that point across while being courteous and respectful to the cashier can be difficult and a waste of my breath. However you can get this taken care of in the store by making a simple phone call. NWA Deals tells us just how to do that.

You can also go visit It's Hip to Save to print the Target Coupon Policy she has posted or email Target and ask for one. I've printed mine and placed it in my binder. I've also programmed the Target Guest Relations number in my cell as suggested by Heather at NWA Deals.

I don't know about you but I want to take advantage of Target's great deals, too! Which means I'm willing to do whatever it takes. Also the thought of shopping locally is soooo great. *sigh*

It seems that the codes have been popping up everywhere and I've found it hard to know which ones I have already entered. To make it easier I've begun to keep a running list of codes according to the original (or trying to) blogger. So, if you're feeling like me you can go here to see the list.

I will keep it updated with the latest codes.

If you're a blogger and are posting some codes let me know and I will add them to the list with proper credit of course.

Thanks, to Mercedes at Common Sense With Money for posting about this program in April. It was because of her post that I found out about it and joined. Plus thanks to her subsequent post ended up with 31 points!
