Hi! I'm new to the coupon and RR game. I was excited to get Huggies diapers for $5.99 after the sale price and $3 online coupon. I bought 3 and knew I would get a RR. I was dissapointed though that it was so specific and for something I didn't need or want. I see the RR mentioned a lot, are they always for a different item, and only if you spend a certain amount? My was for a different item and save $5 if I spent $25. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi and welcome to the world of Walgreens shopping. You will find that some of the RR deals are not for you however sometimes it may be a moneymaker and you'll want to do it anyway.
ReplyDeleteAs for spending a certain amount to get the RR some deals are this way and some are for one item or more.
You mentioned you bought Huggies but then say you were disappointed. Is your disappointment in buying the Huggies or that you couldn't use your RR to buy more?
Thanks for the feedback. The Huggies were good, I was dissapointed in the RR. It was for $5 of a $25 or more purchase of Brita products or Burts Bees. I don't use either. I was just excited to get a RR and then deflated that it wasn't useful for me.
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting...I'm not sure why you would have received that instead of the regular $5 RR. I don't recall seeing that RR deal. When was this and what did you pay with?
ReplyDeleteDon't let that discourage you as Walgreens can be a great way to save lots of money!
It was last Friday. I paid with a credit card. (It think, could have been my debit)
